After 25 years of experience as an architect, including 21 years at Mecanoo Architecten, I embarked on a new chapter in my career.
This led to the founding of Fondere Architects—a firm where dialogue, collaboration, and a personal approach are at the heart of every project.
My passion lies in developing new ideas that help people live, learn, and work in innovative ways. By making smart and forward-thinking choices, I guide my clients toward sustainable and future-oriented solutions.
As an all-round architect with over 25 years of international experience in urban planning, architecture, and interior design, I have primarily focused on designing cultural and educational buildings.
What sets me apart is my ability to distill complex challenges into clear, essential concepts. Through hand-drawn sketches, I make ideas instantly visible and understandable. This helps clients make informed decisions that truly align with their vision and provides a solid foundation for the design process.
“Sketching is a way to explore the space, think, test, and start to become familiar with the idea/project, to understand the possibilities, and develop the right story for my clients”.
Beyond my work as an architect, I regularly share my knowledge and experience through lectures, conferences, and forums on urban development, architecture, and interior design.
With Fondere Architects, I strive to continue creating meaningful, innovative, and inspiring projects.
